Practices start today at both Prairie Creek Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Plano.  There is a practice schedule available here, by team name. If you don't know your child's team, please call or email me (972-983-3383 or email me) and I'll be glad to help you.

These last few weeks we've tried really hard to draft teams.  In drafting the teams, we taken many things int consderation:

• Fair, balanced teams based on evaluated skill levels.
• Consider preferences (Car Pools, Coaches, preferred practice location)
• Coaching prefereces

Unfortunately, all of those can't all be satisfied for all people, and I want to thank each of you for your understanding and patience in working with us to have a successful league.  I value each bit of feedback I recieve from each parent, coach and volunteer; and will incorporate those items intoour planning for next season.

The game day schedule is next on our list of objectives.  With the exception of the Kindergarten league, each team will play some games at both locations.  The games will start on Saturday, January 5th, and run  through February 23rd (this is a change from what was published on the PCBC brochures).  Picture day has been planned for January 26th at both locations.  Awards night is in the planning phases, and more information will be available as we know it.

With Game Day starting early in January, we may make adjustments to the practice schedule for the week preceeding the first Game Day.  As scheduled, the practices are slated for Decemeber 31st and January 1st.  Please let your coach know your availability on those days or later in the week.  Coaches please work with the Directors (Me, and Cody Manning) to re-schedule a practice for that week if necessary, so we don't have a location double booked.

Some reminders as we start this season.

• Each player will practice once per week, and will play one game each week.
• Practices will last one hour, with a short 10 min break for devotions and water.  Water bottles and appropriate dress for practice is encouraged.
• Playing time for each player will be at least half the game (and proabably more)
• Games consist of two 18 minute halves, with a 10 minute half-time break.  Each half will have a substitution break at the 6 and 12 minue mark.
• Scores will not be kept at the Kindergarten level, 1-2 Grade Boys level or the 1-3 Girls level.
• Game times a each location will be at 9:00am, 10:15am, and 11:30 am.  Please have your child at their game location early, as player introductions will start promptly at those times.
